Role Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-to-Senior Level Application Support Analyst to provide advanced application support for critical business applications. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, organized, and possess strong communication skills to collaborate across teams. This role requires experience with application troubleshooting, SQL-based systems, server management, and SOX compliance in production accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide application support for Peloton Wellview, Siteview, Rigview, Merrick, and Generwell Execute (SaaS), particularly in Drilling & Completions.
- Manage and support Infor or equivalent asset management/supply chain systems.
- Maintain and implement SOX compliance processes related to production accounting (Merrick Production Suite).
- Troubleshoot technical issues, including database integrations, server configurations, and system upgrades.
- Handle server management, service reboots, API integrations, and vendor coordination for advanced support.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, vendors, and business units.
- Maintain strong organizational and project management skills, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Follow established Change Control processes and SOX requirements for financial controls.
- Foster a collaborative and communicative work environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in application support, IT systems, or business analysis.
- Strong experience with Peloton Wellview, Siteview, Rigview, Merrick, and Generwell Execute (SaaS).
- SQL, DTS, SSIS, SSRS experience required.
- Experience with SOX compliance, Change Management, and production accounting.
- Technical aptitude in server management, API integrations, and troubleshooting enterprise applications.
- Ability to learn applications from both technical support and end-user perspectives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a small, tight-knit team.
- Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred but not required.
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting Drilling & Completions or Production Operations departments.
- Prior role as a Business Analyst or Application Support Analyst.
- Understanding of asset management and supply chain systems.
